Free cat searching game

Find the Cats is a free experience for Roblox created by CattyApps. This is a very short game, unlike many of the other Roblox experiences. The game is fairly new to the Roblox platform, having only been released to the public in 2020. Even so, Find the Cats has managed to scrape together a loyal fan base of over thousands of players and has been played over 30 million times in total.

No matter what kind of experience you’re looking for, Roblox likely has many games that will appeal to your tastes, sensibilities, and level of experience. If you enjoy the classic obstacle courses that Roblox is known for, try Escape Freddy Obby. If you’re instead looking for a life simulator or role-playing game, try Family Life

Find cats

The premise of Find the Cats is simple; a self-confessed cat lady has lost all of her cats and she needs you to find them for her. In total, she has 100 cats. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to trek across various landscapes looking for her cats. Some of these cats are incredibly highly skilled at hiding from their owner, so you’ll have to look inside, on top of, and underneath objects to find them.

Attention to detail

From a gameplay standpoint, the game is solid. There are 100 missing cats, and you need to find them. However, there are numerous aspects of the game that are incongruous with the premise. First off, the house that these 100 cats supposedly live in is far too small for 100 cats. Furthermore, there are maybe three food bowls on the entire property.

The game would have felt more realistic if the cats were strays that the cat lady feeds or if they simply visited her, as cats do from time to time. Another aspect is that the cats seem to have full lives of their own, as evidenced by the presence of a cat office with a cat boss and cat secretary. It, therefore, doesn’t make much sense for the cat lady to be so worried about her cats, given that they have their own lives to lead.

Too easy

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t present much of a challenge. The cats don’t move, so they’re easy to click on once you’ve found them. Additionally, the majority of the cats aren’t hidden or hiding, they’re simply sitting around or carrying on with their own days. There are no expanded levels of difficulty, and, having finished the game, you don’t feel terribly accomplished. However, if you simply enjoy cute cats, visually appealing environments and a treasure hunt of sorts, you’ll enjoy Find the Cats.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
